This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from blacktowntennisacademy.com.au (the “Site” or "we").

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you;
Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

AGE RESTRICTION
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

CHANGES
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Terms and conditions

Coaching Terms and Conditions

  • Fees are non-refundable. No place is confirmed until payment is received.
  • Fees need to be finalised by the second lesson of the term. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting of the students place in the class.
  • For current students, placement in the following term requires a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. If the deposit is not received by the due date, the coaching placement will become forfeited for the next term.
  • Any request for cancellation or refund is to be in writing before first paid lesson and is not guaranteed.
  • A credit will be issued for any classes cancelled by the Academy to extreme weather.
  • In the event that a class is not 60% full an alternate class time may be offered.
  • Anti-social behaviour, disruptive behaviour or any profanity will not be tolerated.

Rules of Engagement

  • Same day, time and instructor cannot be guaranteed from term to term.
  • Tennis coaches are subject to change without notice. Tennis coach appointment is subject to availability and suitability of the program.
  • Any concerns regarding your child’s coach or class then please contact the Blacktown Tennis Academy contact line.
  • Please vacate the lesson area as soon as possible after the completion of the lesson to make way for the next class participants.
  • Practice makes perfect. Please practice the skills the student learns.
  • Parents need to actively supervise their children in accordance with academy supervision guidelines.
  • All students must wear appropriate footwear (sneakers/joggers with non-marking soles).

Missed Lesson Policy

  • No makeup lessons are available for missed classes.
  • If a customer has planned a family holiday where it is known that at least 5 weeks (lessons) of the term will be missed then it is recommended not to enrol into the term as no refund or deferment will be given. It is recommended to skip the term and enrol into the following term program.

Private Lesson Policy

  • Lesson fee to paid before prior to commencement of private lessons.
  • At least 2 hours notice is required to cancel a booked lesson. Notification can be via email or phone.
  • Failure to notify, or where less than 2 hours notice is given, will result in full fee for the lesson being payable.
  • Please ensure you are on time to your lesson, lessons will not be extended for late arrivals.
  • If the Academy needs to cancel a lesson for any reason, including inclement weather, notification will be given as early as possible.
  • A credit will be issued for any pre-paid private lessons cancelled by the Academy.
